About AKAASH
Wolverhampton rapper, Akaash began to write, record and mix music at the age of 20. He had just left his apprenticeship to pursue a Mechanical Engineering degree at Coventry University.

He started by recording covers of XXXtentacionās āFuck Loveā and āCarry onā after having an emotional break down. This lead to Akaash writing his own songs influenced by emotional experiences. Making music for Akaash is very therapeutic and helps him deal with his emotions. His songs follow a few different genres including Trapwave, Drill and EmoTrap.

Growing up in Wolverhampton Akaash enjoyed various types of music, ranging from UK/US Hip-hop, BritAsian bhangra, Punjabi folk and Bollywood. A lot of his music takes inspiration from Trippie Redd, JuiceWrld, M Huncho and Fateh. Akaashās mother, Kuli Kohli, is a published poet/writer who inspires and motivates him.

The music making process is done from start to end by himself in his home studio. Akaash provides studio sessions and support to local artist by recording and mixing their songs.
